Body positivity doesn’t stand a chance…
Advertisements and social media often portray an unrealistic image of beauty, setting the expectation that you need to look a certain way or be a certain size to be considered attractive, successful or even be noticed. 

How many brands promote products or routines that want to transform you into your favourite IG influencer or the hottest trending celeb? Why, when there's only ONE of you, and with your capabilities, there's no-one better to be. Constant pressure to be perfect and body image issues that have a terrible effect on confidence and self-esteem is out. Plendi is in. 

And neither does the environment…
Did you know that the personal care and beauty industry is a huge contributor to plastic waste through the production of over 120 billion units of packaging each year that mostly ends up in landfills or our oceans?  What a mind-blowing environmental toll - at this rate, there won't be any turtles left for our grandkids to see! Many brands are adopting sustainability as a value, but the progress is slow.
